Otto Alte-Teigeler GmbH is 100 percent family-owned – and will remain so. In 2019, Nina Alte-Teigeler, the granddaughter of the company founder Otto Alte-Teigeler, was appointed to the management. She runs the business together with her father Ralf Alte-Teigeler and Dr Marko Wieland.
Her brother Tim Alte-Teigeler has also been in positions of responsibility for many years and now heads the research and development department.

We have every proof for our qualification: our quality management system ensures reliable, consistently high product and service quality and is certified by DEKRA according to DIN EN ISO 9001. In addition, we are registered with the Verein für die Präqualifikation von Bauunternehmen e.V. (Association for Prequalification of Construction Companies) under the number 101.000092. This means that we fulfil all the eligibility requirements of the VOB/A (Ordinance for the Award and Execution of Contracts in the Construction Industry – Part A) for the award of public contracts. We are a certified specialist company in accordance with the WHG (German Federal Water Act) according to Section 62 of the AWSV (German Ordinance on Installations for Handling Substances Hazardous to Water) and are entitled to carry out work on installations for handling water-hazardous liquids.

We are a member of numerous expert committees and share our know-how, among other things, in the framework of the Forschungsgesellschaft für Straßen- und Verkehrswesen (German Road and Transportation Research Association). Through close cooperation with the Federal Highway Research Institute, universities and mechanical engineering experts, we are always up-to-date with the current state of knowledge – to the benefit of our customers in Germany and abroad. In addition, OAT brings the expertise from Germany to the World Road Association PIARC.
