OAT filler blocks (OAT KFE) ensure a safe and durable interface between the road and track.
Here, the usually elastic part (track) must be separated from the rigid part (adjacent superstructure – road). The OAT KFE permits the elastically mounted track to sink without appreciable frictional resistances.
